Workshop on Stress and Attention in ATM in Padova

 In Latest News

STRESS project aims at designing tools able to assess attention and stress in Air Traffic Controllers. But what is attention and stress when we talk about controllers’ job? How can we trigger different levels of stress and attention in our simulators to validate our tools?

To answer this questions, the project, in collaboration with ANACNA (the National Association of Assistants and Controllers of Air Navigation), organised one workshop in Padova Area Control Center, which is responsible for managing air traffic in the centre-north est part of the Italian sky.

On January 30th and 31th, Deep Blue and the University La Sapienza of Rome worked together with five controllers, representative of different roles and experiences, and gathered relevant information vital to carry on STRESS work.
